About The Gobo Method

The Gobo Method is a creative learning pathway that combines stories, games, interactive activities, and imagination to help learners develop confidence, curiosity, and communication skills.

Rather than treating learning as a series of isolated exercises, The Gobo Method invites learners to explore a connected world of language, creativity, and discovery.

Every lesson, activity, story, and challenge forms part of a larger journey designed to encourage learners to explore, connect, practise, and create.

The Four Principles
🌱 Explore

Discover new ideas through stories, activities, and meaningful experiences.

🌿 Connect

Build understanding by linking language, ideas, and experiences together.

🍄 Practise

Develop confidence through games, challenges, and interactive activities.

🪶 Create

Use imagination and creativity to apply learning in meaningful ways.

Looking Ahead

The Gobo Method is designed to grow beyond a single subject.

While Learn English Creatively is the first pathway, future learning adventures will expand to include additional subjects, creative projects, and resources for families, teachers, and schools.

The visual world of The Great Greenwood is an evolving creative project. While many of the current illustrations were developed with the assistance of AI design tools during the early stages of production, the forest, its stories, and its characters were born from the imagination and artistic vision of Clare Littleton. As the project continues to grow, these images will gradually be replaced by Clare's original artwork currently in development, allowing the world of The Great Greenwood and The Gobo Method to emerge more fully through the artist's own hand.

The Gobo Method is built on the belief that learning should be an adventure. Through stories, creativity, exploration, and play, learners are encouraged to grow in confidence while discovering the joy of learning. As new pathways unfold and The Great Greenwood continues to expand, the journey is only just beginning.

Learning Through Adventure

The Gobo Method is built around learning pathways that guide learners through carefully structured stages of development.

From the Acorn Path to the Feather Path, learners are encouraged to progress at their own pace while developing confidence and independence.

Stories such as The Great Greenwood, interactive activity boards, games, and creative projects work together to create an engaging and memorable learning experience.

About Clare

The Gobo Method was created by Clare Littleton, an anthropologist, teacher, artist, and lifelong traveller.

With a degree in Anthropology, an Advanced Level 5 TEFL Diploma, and experience working across different cultures and countries, Clare combines education, creativity, storytelling, and visual learning to create engaging learning adventures.

Inspired by a lifelong passion for language, art, and imagination, she created The Gobo Method to help learners explore, connect, practise, and create with confidence.
